Abdul Latif Jameel Motors, the authorized distributor for Toyota in Saudi Arabia since 1955, is proud to celebrate the remarkable achievement of Saudi driver Dania Akeel, who secured victory in the FIA Middle East Baja Cup, etching her name in history as the first female driver to win an overall FIA Rally Championship.
Dania’s journey to the championship was marked by extraordinary resilience, adaptability, and strategic prowess. Competing across four tough rounds in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan, and Dubai, she secured podium finishes at every event.
Demonstrating her versatility, Dania transitioned between different vehicle categories and teams, culminating in a spectacular win at the Dubai International Baja. This triumph sealed her overall championship title, as well as success in the flagship Ultimate category.
