29 December 2024 | Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Jameel Motorsport, part of Abdul Latif Jameel Motors, the authorized distributor for Toyota in Saudi Arabia since 1955, proudly celebrated the successful conclusion of the 2024 Saudi Toyota Championship, the largest of its kind in the Kingdom.

The closing ceremony held at the Ritz-Carlton Jeddah was attended by His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Sultan Al-Abdullah Al-Faisal, Chairman of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation, along with sponsors and media representatives.

The 2024 season stood out for its exceptional achievements, reflecting Saudi Arabia's growing status as a premier hub for motorsports. The season also witnessed more than 1,000 participations, including top local and international talents, competed across 22 rounds in seven thrilling categories: rally, drift, time attack, autocross, drag, hill climb, and karting.

This year’s championship also celebrated a milestone in female participation, with women racers making up roughly 7% of the competitors. This reflects the event’s ongoing commitment to diversity and the empowerment of women in motorsports. Over SAR 2 million in prizes were awarded, with additional prizes distributed to this season’s champions.

Munir Khoja, Managing Director of Jameel Motorsport and Marketing Communications at Abdul Latif Jameel Motors, added: “This season’s achievements are a testament to the shared vision and collaboration of the organizing committee. We are proud to play a pivotal role in nurturing national talent and supporting community sports initiatives.”
