Short Biography

Yazeed Al-Rajhi made a significant mark in the world of motorsport since 2007, competing in the World Rally Championship (WRC) and other international events like the Middle East Rally Championship (MERC).

He made a sensational debut at the Dakar Rally in 2015, securing his first stage win on the eighth day behind the wheel of a Toyota Hilux, although he had to retire from the rally while in third place.

His last appearance in the WRC was in 2018, after which he shifted his focus to cross-country rallies.

In 2019, before Dakar began its new chapter in Saudi Arabia, Yazeed won the inaugural Saudi Toyota Rally Championship.

As a rally driver, Yazeed has achieved remarkable success, becoming a two-time FIA World Cup champion in 2021 and 2022. His best finish at the Dakar Rally came in 2022 when he achieved third place, marking a historic moment as he became the first Saudi to score a podium in the T1+ category. In the same year, Yazeed clinched the local Saudi Toyota Championship title, adding to his previous victories in 2019, 2022 and 2023.

The Saudi champion, Yazeed continues to compete at the highest levels, participating in three different championships in a single season: the World Rally-Raid Championship (W2RC) with five rounds, the FIA World Cup for Bajas with eight rounds, and the Saudi Toyota Championship with four rounds.
