Educating Gamers Within Their World
Every minute, 2,400 trees are cut down, and deforestation is increasing at an alarming rate of 10%, contributing significantly to global warming. Jameel Motorsport took the initiative to educate and inspire the Saudi youth to support the cause. So, we decided to give them a glimpse of a world without trees.
Fortnite is one of the most popular online games among Saudi youth, and just like in the real world, the game’s environment is significantly dependent on trees. We took that away by creating the world’s first TREELESS MAP, disrupting the virtual world in a way that would shock every player.
This unique gaming arena set in Fortnite features a map completely devoid of trees-a stark reminder of the global impact of deforestation. But it’s more than just an awareness interception; we also engaged players in a conversation about reforestation. Every hour spent playing on the map became an opportunity for learning.
